“All the Time in the World”

I gave many talks during my career. This is my favorite so I’m putting it first here. I delivered the talk at the University of Pittsburgh Composition Program Awards Event, April 2016. It’s the last talk I gave in advance of my retirement. I wanted especially to persuade graduate students and young faculty not to become ensnared in the frantic time-scarcity culture that afflicts our profession.
