Paul Kameen teaches pedagogy and composition theory in the graduate curriculum and a variety of composition, literature and creative writing courses in the undergraduate curriculum. His scholarly interests range from Greek rhetoric to contemporary poetics.
He is the author of Writing/Teaching: Essays Toward a Rhetoric of Pedagogy (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2000); Re-reading Poets: The Life of the Author (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2010) and This Fall (2016) He has published numerous articles on composition, rhetoric, and poetics. His poetry has appeared in a wide range of small magazines and journals.
