Mornings After: Poems 1975-95

I stopped writing poems for about 20 years–between 1995 and 2015–for a complex set of philosophical reasons I detail in my book (Re-reading Poets.) So all of these poems were written between the mid-1970s and the mid-1990s. I did a lot of readings during that era and always enjoyed reading my poems for an audience much more than publishing them, so these “readings” seemed the best and most pleasant way for me to archive them here, the ones that I like the most. Each sound file contains 5-10 poems, organized by series, theme or mood. The readings range from 5 to 15 minutes or so. I also include a PDF of a book I compiled in April 2017 called Mornings After (available @ amazon.com via my author’s page.) It contains many of the poems from the sound files, along with some others.
