This essay describes two dream-given thought experiments that seek to understand some things about the nature of time, a preoccupation of mine since I was a kid. The first proposes a reversal in the “vector” of time, from future to past rather than vice-versa. The second wonders whether spacetime goes into and out of existence repeatedly in their “missing middles.”
