Between the mid-70s and the mid-90s I wrote a few hundred poems. Then I stopped, not just the sending out but the writing, for a set of  good reasons I detail in my book Re-reading Poets. I compile here many of my personal favorites from that era of my creative life. I started writing poems again in the fall of 2016, all of those books now on my website and Amazon, and I’ve been at it ever since. I am, in retrospect, delighted with all of it, these poems I wrote early, the stop, and the sudden re-start. I hope you’ll find something here to be delighted with as well.
