I wrote three collections of poems–in real time, online–during September 2016, a cataclysm of catharsis following my wife’s passing. This is the first, a series of conversations with the great Chinese poet Li Po (Li Bai). Li Po’s side of the dialogue is taken from translations by David Hinton and Yan Pu. This series was precipitated by gifts from two wonderful Chinese friends, Marian Orton and Yan Pu, in ways I explain in the book’s preface. Paperback and Kindle versions available at cost on Amazon.com.
